有朋自遠方來(一)

美國的假期到，許多朋友不約而同的來New Jersy拜訪，見到老朋友只有開心啦!

從Florida來的強哥23號就到這，很不巧，那幾天天氣陰陰的，不過精神奕奕的強哥完全不受天氣影響，老樣子來個男人式的擁抱，超開心見到他。到New Brunswick已經接近中午，在我接到她之後一路直接殺到Princeton，原本要來個Tiger Noodle台式牛肉麵之懷鄉之旅，但是正好碰上公休，掃興地只好轉往義式餐廳，食物倒是OK，因為有漂亮的服務生讓氣氛加分，我們兄弟倆在餐廳裡邊吃邊聊，真是很久不見(大概有半年多了吧)，加上健談的強哥真是有講不完的話，哈哈!飯後來點愛因斯坦最愛的冰淇淋，在這種下著雨的冬天吃冰，聽起來倒是頗瘋狂，人家說"偉人做的事都會讓人覺得不可思議"(倒是有點自我膨脹一下)。邊走邊聊，也逛完整個Princeton Un.只有"此景只有天上"的感覺，有點誇張，不過圖書館的書香、教堂的莊嚴及宿舍的寧靜，整個歐洲風情在眼前呈現，令強哥讚嘆聲連連，在結束Princeton之旅後，我邀請強哥來我家坐坐，盡盡地主之誼，因為時間關係，沒辦法招待太久，短短的一個下午，心情開心，有機會換我去Florida打擾一下啦!!

不想忘記一個用很久的暱稱

" 因為夢想而忙碌，別因為忙碌而忘記夢想"

這句話是拿來警惕自己，別忙得像是個無頭蒼蠅，完成階段性的夢想才是最重要

Guest in Discussion Class

In today's discussion class, we got a guest speaker. He was a police officer and introduced what he did about his job. After a brief introduction, we asked some questions. Like how do the police think of the Asian? Because Americans( white of black) usually argue but Asian don't( people from Asia are usually quiet, it's easier for us to get the tickets. Why did Mina's friend get a handcuff? He introduced the equipment in his body. and then he told about the perspectation about the politition like Bush?! He is intelligent and has his own thinking. I think lots of American like him have strong opinion and are not shy to express themselves. Therefore, they are not easy to be close or just friends because of the cultural difference. However, they are still nice and some are gentle and kind. Today, I learn some about the U.S. police. How do their family think of his job cuz it's a dangerous job( sometimes)? I learned a lot and I got a small cute presentative present!!

New Jersy Driver's License

I am so excited to get my first US driver's license. But I am sorry that Elaine didn't get that, we went there together.

If you wanna get a driver's license, you need to follow these steps:
first of all: Get 6 points
What is 6 points? 1. passport 2. I-20 3. bank statement 4. student ID 5. SSN( Social Security Number) denial letter

Then, go to DMV and get the Driver Manual. There are some samples for the test, and you can see!

After studying, go to the DMV and don't forget to bring your international drive license and the license in your country.
Study hard and GET IT!!!

Ticket

If English is the only ticket to get in America and to know you, I will get it and try to be more like a native speaker.

I think i hate the word "leave". The word makes me weak and helpless. I would never know that i would get this kind of feeling in PALS only in seven weeks. This feeling eats my heart. But you know what... I am so glad to meet you guys!!

Beach Vollyball Day

That's the first time we played beach vollyball. It seems more fun than the normal one. And that was the first day we met.
